Production with the Fort Never touch
Every Fort Never release is produced in-house by Timmie Rook. This service opens up that same approach to other artists through hourly sessions in our Austin studio. If you like the way our records feel, with heavy beats, soft soundscapes and lots of room in the mix, this is your chance to bring some of that to your own music.
What we can work on
- Beat-making and drum programming, including blending programmed beats with live drums
- Arrangement help for songs that feel stuck or unfinished
- Textures, ambience and soundscape layers
- Vocal production, doubles and harmony layering
- Mixing, with a focus on low end, space and clarity
How booking works
- The price is per hour. Choose the number of hours at checkout; this is a starting point, and bigger projects can be scoped with us first.
- In the order notes, tell us about your project: genre, references, what stage it’s at and what you need.
- We’ll email you to confirm a session time and what to bring or send ahead, such as stems, a session file or a demo.
- Nothing is locked in until we’ve confirmed by email.

Solo artists, bands and producers working in trip-hop, electronic, dub, folk, indie or anything in between, at any stage from a phone voice memo to a nearly finished track.
