Fort Never is first and foremost a band, but making our own records has taught us a lot, and we’re happy to put it to work for other people. Whether you’re planning an event, finishing a song or looking for music for a film, here’s how we can help. Everything below is handled directly by the band, with no agency in the middle.
Live performance booking
We play clubs, private events and festivals. A Fort Never set is heavy beats and soft soundscapes played live: programmed grooves with a live drummer, three singers and a lot of atmosphere. It works as a late-night club set, a slower, more intimate evening or a festival slot as the sun goes down.
- Clubs and venues: headline or support slots, in Austin and beyond.
- Private events: parties, launches, gallery openings, weddings and other gatherings where you want music people will actually listen to.
- Festivals: full sets sized to your stage and schedule.
A deposit holds your date. After that we’ll work out set length, sound and backline needs, load-in times and anything else your event needs. If you’re new to booking a band, our journal guide on how to book a live band covers the basics.
Production and mixing sessions
Every Fort Never release is produced in-house by Timmie Rook, and we offer that same approach to other artists through hourly sessions in our Austin studio. Bring a voice memo, a half-finished demo or a full multitrack session. We can help with:
- Beat-making and drum programming, including blending programmed and live drums
- Arrangement, texture and soundscape work
- Vocal production and layering harmonies
- Mixing, especially for music that needs low end and space
Sessions are booked by the hour. Larger projects can be scoped together before we start, so you know what to expect.
Sync licensing
Our tracks are available for licensing in film, TV, advertising, games and online content. If a song from our catalog fits your scene, we can license it for your project. Tell us the track, the medium, where and how long it will run, and the term you need, and we’ll confirm the details and paperwork with you directly. The listed price is for a single track; broader or longer uses are quoted case by case.
Merch
The cream Fort Never logo tee, the album Home as a digital download and on CD, and whatever comes next all live in the shop. Every purchase goes straight to the band.
How pricing and booking work
The prices shown in the shop for bookings, sessions and licenses are starting points, not final quotes. Every event, recording project and sync use is different, so the final cost depends on details like date, travel, session length and scope of use. Paying a deposit or booking a service online puts you in the queue, and every booking is confirmed personally by email before anything is locked in. If a date or project doesn’t work for us, we’ll tell you right away.
